Preserving for the Perplexed: Pickles

Pickle slices in jar next to small dish of cucumber slices

Join us and the City of Winchester Department of Recycling for our free new zero-waste series, Preserving for the Perplexed. With DIY preserving, you avoid single-use containers, save money, control your own ingredients...and most importantly, have a ton of fun! Our team will have you laughing all the way to perfect preserves.

In this session, Jen and Mike will guide you through easy pickling techniques: fridge/freezer and fermentation. There'll be plenty of time for Q & A with the pickling experts.

Upon registering, you will be emailed a link to the online event page, through which you can access the Zoom webinar once the event starts. Please make sure you receive the link, and contact us if you have any questions. We cannot guarantee to be available for tech/Zoom problems on the day of the event, so we suggest registering well in advance!

We'll also sign you up for Sustainability Matters' email list. We never sell your info, and you may unsubscribe at any time.

Preserving for the Perplexed is funded by a grant from the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality. Check out the other workshops in the series, Yogurt (June 13) and Chutney/Salsa (June 20)!
