Composting doesn't have to be hard, smelly, or (too) messy! Keep your food and garden waste out of the landfill and use it to feed your soil instead.

Join us at the State Arboretum of Virginia (Blandy) for a workshop on composting basics, taught by our compost queen Deborah Abercrombie. There'll be plenty of time for Q & A.

Space for this is limited and registration is required. Please note that the event will be held in accordance with University of Virginia COVID requirements as of the event date. Currently, UVA requires masking by all individuals, regardless of vaccination status, at indoor events.

$10 per person for Sustainability Matters or Friends of the State Arboretum members/$15 non-members
