Check out our job opportunities here. We’re currently hiring for two positions, an Outreach & Communications Coordinator and a Programs Facilitator. As a young, small-but-mighty nonprofit, Sustainability Matters is creating new positions, not filling existing ones. We're not constrained by job descriptions: we're open to candidates whose skills cross over aspects of multiple opportunities, or include capacities not mentioned here. Go ahead and pitch us. Our jobs are primarily remote, with periodic in-person attendance at events or meetings in Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley, Piedmont, or Northern Virginia regions. We take program quality and impact extremely seriously: we expect our staff to perform at the highest professional level, and we treat and compensate them accordingly. We don’t take much else seriously, so we’re also looking for colleagues who’ll laugh with us. Bonus: we’ll tell you where the horse fits in.
